What is the difference between Mini- Symposia and Special Sessions

Mini Symposia are structured sessions focusing on specific core themes, where submitted abstracts undergo peer review and are included in the symposium’s book of abstracts. These must be submitted via the abstract portal by March 28, 2025. In contrast, Special Sessions are partner-led discussions that allow for the sharing of knowledge and best practices without a peer-review process, and proposal submissions will be reviewed for alignment with the symposium’s overarching theme.
